I am not, in any way a food stylist, but I do love a simple (and magical looking) food spread. This first looks entirely too simple for me not to make, as well

as sets the perfect mood for this type of meal.

I would assume the stylist/chef wanted it to look simple to make for the reader, and enticed it to be made in just the right season.
